It’s great. I use it all the time instead of spotlight!

This app is one of the first apps installed on any Mac I own. It finds any shred of data associated to any app or file allowing you to take whateve actions necessary. It’s worth every penny! Don’t hesitate to buy this app.

Great software! Very handy when trying to find odd, obscure files. It’s been a big help on many occasions.

This app finds any file and I mean “any” file. It is a must have when it comes to cleaning up after dragging to Trash any app. If you are looking for a specific file and have an inkling of the name, this app finds it!

Ive used Thomass app since it was by donation. Its still worth the price $8 on App Store. Thomas supports this very well with regular updates (now 1.83), has two ways to see your findings, searches by name and other file characteristics. Finds folders both visible and hidden quickly and ACCURATELY that spotlight ofter misses. Tells you where they are in both a flat, finder-like display and a folder hierarchical one. You now can perform some typical operations to the file, including trashing it. All very smooth. A very nice little utility. And it keeps up with the latest Mac System upgrades, also on its own, simply getting better!

Much better than spotlight. Not as fast and effective as Google’s old indexing search tool that worked on Macs—but you can actually find a file with it: I have a LOT of files, and found the needle in the haystack with it with very little effort. Definitely worthwhile.

When spotlight can’t get the job done, just ask Find Any File. Does just what it says: finds *any* file, *anywhere*, on *any* drive. This app is a must-have.

The title says it all. It just works. Very handy for finding things the finder doesn’t want to find.

So much better then the built in search!!!

This is a very useful utility, definitely worth purchase price. It has features that Spotlight doesn’t have. Most of the time I prefer to use it instead of Spotlight.

This program has enabled me to find programs on my iMac that I didn’t know were there and to get rid of them. The latest being Adware, which occurred out of nowhere and seems to keep coming back. Its in on to EtreCheck to find the problem items.

The web site says such other Boolians are not there because that would slow it down, but once one has the understanding that that is the case, then the slowness is a necessary thing. But in general, it’s far most useful than the Mac OS’s “find”, which cannot even find something I am looking at in Finder.

Spotlight is great for searching content but when you actually know the filename you’re looking for, that’s where this comes in and finds it unbelievably fast.

This app is all “Yep!” It works quickly, and works well. I use it often as my go to file finder now. It is the real deal, and worth every penny.

Find any file has been My most used app as a Recording artist/producer. Mac can lose stuff faster than my kids I need this b4 anything else to keep my files organized it will find anything i look for in my DAW and anywhere else HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This is a really great tool for finding those hard-to-find, if not impossible-to-find, files. Makes it easy to locate the plist file you’re looking… just double-click and you’re editing. I don’t use it everyday, but when I need it, there is no substitute.

This my search app of last resort. I don’t use it by default because it finds too many matches. It’s lightning fast and very useful.
