Finds everything including what spotlight does not. Searches extensively, inside packages, very feature rich and robust.

I depend on this more than ever since Apple screwed up the operation of its magnifying glass… It does what you expect and it is more useful given the fact that Apple keeps messing with the built in one.

I use this utility all the time to trace files whose name I remember in part. The advantage over Spotlight is that it does not overwhelm one in options and in output.

A great utility. Will find files that spotlight will not. Would fully recommend.

I have been a fan of this utility since the first time I used it. It provides accurate, and more comprehensive results than Apple’s Spotlight, very quickly. However, I would really like to see an option to change and/or increase the font size of the output as well as a toggle to have it always use the “Find All” option with an Admin password which is why I am giving it four stars at this time.

I’ve used this app for several years, and it is my go-to app for finding files. Quick, easy, simple, accurate. It does what is needs to. No excess. No fuss. It just works. And very well.

Found this program today and after trying about 4 other alternatives to Spotlight this is THE ONE! Apple should buy this program. It finds what Spotlight can’t, but even better, it is much easier to interpret the results and follow the file path than with Spotlight. I have struggled with misplaced files scattered here & there for years and finally have a way to get control of my file management with Find Any File. OK, I sound like a fan-boy, but it deserves it.

This is my “go-to” search applications, able to find files that others can’t. An indispensible app for me!

This app is wonderful. If I like to see any file then I use this app. I recommends to everybody to get this app. Well done.

works great no hassles - a bit dated looking

Finds everything based on the file name. ‘Find all’ finds files not normally in the search. Files can be deleted right from the results panel. Double click a folder in the results panel to open it

Couldn’t do without it!

Not a complete crash but doesn’t start right away, hangs a lot. Lag is huge. This is with the latest, updated macbook pro, using path finder. Of course if that last update was March 2015, I shouldn’t be surprised.

Yes, you could do this using Terminal as well, but for a fast check this is handy

It does just what it says it will do - Find any file.

Basically - download and use, the program does what it should do and does it perfectly. Typical time-saver utility program - locating a file with this tool can be much faster that using Spotlight (which is also great for other purposes) I love that type of applications, thanks to them I can have time to another coffee :-) Probably Spotlight can do similar tasks but this program is more focused that Spotlight
